Dear Caroline,
This is a huge thank you to Sue Black, yourself and all the other singers at Opera Worcester for helping to make the Last Night of the Proms such a resounding success. You did our dear friend Ian Pattison proud.
Your generosity in freely giving your time and musical talents is greatly appreciated. The feedback has been very positive – we definitely have new enthusiasts as well as old-timers who would love to see you return next year!
I cannot give you a final figure yet as we are still awaiting some last expenses, but you have helped to raise in the region of £1900 – a fantastic result.
Thank you all very much indeed.
With very best wishes,
Jane Silvey

Dear Caroline,
A note to thank you and Opera Worcester for our entertainment on Sunday afternoon. We were enthralled with the singing, which made the afternoon. For some this was an introduction to opera and for others a confirmation of a love.
I thought you might like to know we made £575.00.
Best wishes,
Christine

Message from the Mayor
We were most grateful for GWOS’s “Pirates in a Day” which raised £1,600 for our Mayoral charities in 2013.
Maggs and St Pauls eventually benefited from over £14,000 each towards their roles in assisting the single homeless, through the provision of a day centre, a hostel and support, to assist people to live independently in their own accommodation.
