Opera Worcester are delighted to have attracted local business sponsorship for the very first time this year.
Both Kings School Worcester and Holden Vintage and Classic have agreed to sponsor characters within The Marriage of Figaro, with Kings School sponsoring Michael Burgess who sings Don Basilio and Holden Morgan sponsoring the title role of Figaro.
Aaron Prewer Jenkinson, who will sing the title role of ‘Figaro’ in the forthcoming Opera Worcester production of The Marriage of Figaro, recently tried out his driving skills in a Morgan at Holden Vintage and Classic in Bromyard.
The production has been updated to the 1900s so having the opportunity to try out his driving skills in a beautiful vintage car was something Aaron couldn’t resist!
Jeremy Holden, Chairman of Holden Vintage and Classic commented “We are really pleased to be able to support young performers, especially if they are local and we are very happy to associate ourselves with Opera Worcester who are looking to introduce live opera back to the area.”
Opera Worcester’s production of The Marriage of Figaro can be seen at The Swan Theatre, Worcester from 15-17 March 2018. Tickets are currently available on 07396 081426 or Worcester Live on 01905 611427 or by email on info@operaworcester.uk Further details can be found at www.operaworcester.co.uk
