All safe and secure – Opera Worcester welcomes second business sponsor for this year’s production
Opera Worcester are pleased to welcome support from another local business for this year’s production.
Based in Worcester, Comer Park Security Services have taken up a small business sponsorship package for this year’s show.
Owner Trisha Jukes (pictured on the left here with OW chairman Caroline Causier) comments: ‘This will certainly help us with our marketing locally and help us to raise our profile. At the same time it’s great to be associated with a local organisation that provides excellent quality productions and aims to give opportunities to singers of all ages to tackle opera.”
Trisha has a special interest in the society because she was a chorus member of Great Witley Operatic Society before it became Opera Worcester, and this year celebrates 30 years with the society.
“Singing opera has certainly provided a whole range of new challenges for all of us but where else where you get the chance to sing such fabulous music and mix with such a great group of people every week!”
Trisha’s enthusiasm and commitment has also led her to accept the role of Membership Secretary, so welcoming new members is also part of her role.
Chairman of Opera Worcester, Caroline Causier, commented:
“ We are very grateful to Comer Park Security Services for taking up one of our sponsorship packages. Not only does Trisha run a busy business but she is one of our most dedicated chorus performers and recently agreed to serve on our committee. We are indebted to her, and her company, for the tremendous support she gives us, both on and off the stage! “
